Voting for Best of the Best USA will open August 22nd, 2023 - August 31st, 2023.
Our very first Official Readers Choice Awards started in Missouri, Missouri's Best in 2017. The Best of the Best USA launched in 2023.
The contest is open to any business, event with a location in the USA. (must be in good standing with CDM Media Group, LLC.)
The Best of the Best USA only allows write in votes per verified email. Our ballot will have the list of categories (over 400 plus categories) you can fill in the name of the business, person or event you would like to vote for. Only submit one name per category.
You DO NOT vote every day. Only submit one name per category one time!
We monitor vote-stuffing and manipulation - Ballot does not steer or influence who a voter should choose.
Every year I review previous contests to be certain the category list is current and appropriate. At times, I may remove a category that had little or no participation in previous years. The best way to be sure "your" category stays in the contest is to encourage your customers to vote. I have rearranged and revised some of the groups this year in order to make the contest more user friendly.
No incentives, prizes, goods or services may be offered in exchange for votes, Awarding something to the person who votes the most would be a rules violation, as would giving something for each voter.
Any winning business must be in good standing with CDM Media Group, Missouri Magazine. and still in operation by the date of the results to be promoted as a “Best of” winner.
We look to see that a business is in the correct category and is actually located in the United States. This year we are asking people who vote for a business to provide some basic information about the business, such as a location and/or a contact number so that we can reach out to the business if we have any concerns.
No. The winners are determined by the numbers of votes they receive.
Campaigning is fine but paying directly for votes is not.
No, users should only have one voting account. Please note that the company that administers this contest will flag suspicious voting patterns, and votes that violate the terms of this contest will be removed.
No, in fact do you know less than 3% of our winners advertise with us.
Any type of bullying or negative comments to others you will be banned from our social media pages and our compeition permanently.
While I know all businesses and people should be celebrated for all their hard work it's impossible to celebrate every business, person, and event in the United States. We have over 450 plus categories and try to celebrate as many people as we can each and every year.
We ask that businesses only enter those categories that truly represent what they are the "best" at. In some cases where categories could overlap or services are similar, our moderators will decide which category that business best fits into based on their business description. We reserve the right to limit the number of categories that an individual business is entered in.
You get bragging rights for the entire year! Invited to our Best of the Best USA private Red-Carpet event. Listed in our Best of the Best USA special issue. Also, listed on our website for the year you won in. You will receive a framed certificate and decal at the Red-Carpet Event.

Our Best Of logos are for our winners to use. Also, for anyone who would like to be nominated for Best of the Best USA can use the vote for us logos only.
Logos may NOT be edited. Logo abuse may result in disqualification from future ballots. If you need special customization of your logo, please e-mail us at hello@thebestinthestate.com

Best of the Best USA Red-Carpet event is held annually for winners only. All tickets are sold thourgh our event page. You do not need to print your tickets as we will have your name at check in. To attend you must purchase tickets prior to the event. No tickets are sold at the door.
This is a private event for winners only.
Tickets will be available until sold out or our final deadline which is listed here.
No refunds for tickets, VIP tables, sponsorships, etc. All sales are final. You can find more information on the Best of the Best USA Red-Carpet event here.
